What Have We Been Up To?

Theresa MahTown Hall

2nd District State Representative Theresa Mah led a Town Hall and Resource Fair and invited the McKinley Dog Park Committee to have a table!  It was great discussing important issues impacting our district with our neighbors and sharing our excitement about having a dog park!

Pet Health Fair at McGuane Park

Around 500 dogs and cats received their vaccinations, food, collars/leashes, and toys….all for free! We hosted a table at this sponsored event to inform local dog-owners about our committee and it sure garnered lots of excitement. We received over 100 petition signatures and passed along lots of flyers.

CAPS Meetings–Beat 921

McKinley Dog Park Committee officers have attended April and May CAPS Meetings.  This has been a great chance to talk to our neighbors about their questions and concerns about having a dog park.  We look forward to continuing to attend different community meetings to talk to our neighbors more about getting a dog park!
